2018 rookie corner and defensive end of the Los Angeles Temptation Legends Football League, Hannah Gauthreaux says her motivation to GGrind emerged when she decided to start living for her mom and becoming everything she ever dreamed of.

“Since I lost her a few years ago my release and escape from reality has always been turning to sports,” says Hannah. “I play with passion and always try to give it my all.”

As a proud supporter of GRIND GRIND and a good friend of the man behind the brand, Hannah says she loves what the brand is becoming, and how it also taps into the mind frame of what drives athletes and give insight to how they GGRIND.

“To me GRIND means to be passionate about something, and working your ass off till you reach your goal/goals,” she says. “Be PASSIONATE, selfless and relentless, when it comes to feeding your soul. YOU are all you got at the end of the day, so make yourself happy. Period.”

Just last November was when Hannah started practicing football, which led to her playing as a rookie in the 2018 season of the Legends Football League for LA Temptation.

“I just had shoulder surgery about 9 weeks ago, so it is still up in the air if I will be good to go for this next season,” she says when discussing her first year on the field. “But hey, injuries and setbacks are apart of the game, and life.”

Until she’s cleared to play, Hannah has had her mind focused on a new endeavor: prepping for her first bikini show in Las Vegas , Nevada that is scheduled for early February.

“If my shoulders feels 100% by around that time I will most likely return to football as well, fingers crossed,” Hannah says.

But a shoulder injury isn’t the only type of barriers she’s faced since playing in the LFL. The football player has had a hand full of injuries from doing what she loves, however, they didn’t keep her down for long.

“Some adversity I’ve faced in football, is sprained fingers from jamming in pre season, and just the sacrifice we all give day in and day out to play the sport we love,” she says.

If you don’t know what the LFL is, it’s a women's 7-on-7 tackle American football league, which was founded in 2009 as the Lingerie Football League and later renamed as the Legends Football League in 2013. The games are played in the spring and summer at NBA, NFL, NHL and MLS arenas and stadiums.

“Football is a badass game, and if you’ve only seen men play it wait till you see what the women can do. 7 verses 7 in an indoor areana, full contact, and hitting the shit out of each other for 40 mins,” says Hannah. “Seriously, there are no words for how fun the atmosphere at the games are, from the crazy fans, dance cams and to the energy of the players. There’s truly  nothing like it.”

Hannah’s daily routine as a football player for the LA Temps is training 5 days on own and on weekends with her team in LA. During the week you can also find her working at her teaching bootcamp,  fight camp classes, along with personal training; and of course you’ll see her rocking GRING GRIND apparel while putting in work.

“GRIND GRIND motivates me in a sense that we are all connected, and all want the best out of ourselves! Hearing and seeing other stories can give you that extra push on days you arnt just feeling it. Figure out your WHY, and always remind yourself why you’re doing it. “
