Psalm 30:5 For his anger endures for a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Gm, although similar, there's a distinct difference between ''Joy' & 'Happiness'. The idea of happiness is small and continual. Happiness doesn't have much opposition. Joy on the other hand is being battle tested. You've been thru the fire and the rain. The trial and tribulation nearly tore you apart. You've struggled and cried and for some miraculous reason you have overcame that which has come against you! The feeling is an overwhelming triumph that supersedes happiness. Praise God for the joy over your situation! Maybe you haven't reached the endpoint. You haven't been vindicated yet. Maybe the struggle isn't over. The situation still gets you emotional. The scripture says, "weeping may endure for a night, but 'JOY' comes in the morning"!!!
